All Saints Art

All Saints Art has now been running for five years and continues to flourish. We currently have a regular membership of 12 people who meet from 7.30pm to 9.30pm each Thursday evening in the meeting room at the back of the Church.

We are a lively, all-ability group ranging from people who claim never to have drawn anything in their lives, to those with slightly more experience, and we all help, encourage and learn from each other as we go along.

Our programme for this term is as follows:

12th JanuaryColouring books and sheets. Bring paints or crayons
19th JanuaryTheme 'January' or copying calendar picture. Bring paper and whatever medium you wish to use
26th JanuaryContinue from last week
2nd FebruaryMake a collage of still life of bottles Gillian will bring setup, paper,and collage materials
9th FebruaryContinue from last week
16th FebruaryIlluminated letters - Gillian will bring books
23rd FebruarySpring flowers - choose your medium. Bring any available flowers. Watercolour or pastels
2nd MarchPastels - bring your own picture of an animal or bird
9th MarchContinue from last week.
16th MarchDr Roger Aubery will give an illustrated talk. Open invitation to congregation to join us. £2 per person.
23rd MarchFree choice or finish anything done earlier in the term
30th MarchQuick poses -drawing each other with charcoal or pencil
6th AprilA picture of some aspect of the Easter Story
