Craft in Church

Craft in Church is a morning of various craft activities at All Saints for all ages, where you can partake in various craft activities and then take what you have made home with you afterwards. There will be a specific activity for children of all ages.

Following the success of the first ‘Craft in Church’ in March we are having another on September 28th, starting at 9.30, and ending with a light Ploughman’s lunch at 12.30. Coffee and tea will available during morning. There will also be some short prayers at the end of the morning.

The aim is to see, try, make, learn, chat, get involved and enjoy various craft activities. The list is endless but broadly based around Needlecraft (Knitting, Crochet, Cross Stitch, Needlepoint), Paper Craft (Card Making, Collage, Origami, Colouring), Painting (Glass Painting, Decorating items), Candle Making, Wreath Making, Flower Arranging, Recycling / Upcycling / making things e.g. Garden Lanterns. We hope to have Knitting, Crochet, Collage, Colouring, Candle Making, Flower Arranging and Needlecraft – Cross Stich / Needlepoint and perhaps some Origami.

We are asking for donations from those attending, and would like to raise a little money to split between Christians Against Poverty and All Saints.

Please come along and join us for a fun social morning – all are welcome! If you would like to share a particular craft talent you have with us, and lead a future session, please get in touch as we hope to include different activities in the future.

We look forward to seeing you there!
